Explore a Galaxy’s worth of depth achieving new ranks, trophies, and levels for you and your ship. Get the classic “Traveller” RPG experience, complete with Sector and Subsector views, and fully realized detail on more than 40,000 star systems and more than 350,000 fixed space objects.
HexMode™ lets you zoom out and engage in tactical combat, trading, and exploration… just like the Original Traveller Pen and Paper RPG. Using the iPhone’s amazing UI capabilities, you can ‘pinch out’ and zoom out from sub-sector to sector, and even all the way out to galaxy view. ‘Pinch in’ on the Hex-Mode map and you can zoom in all the way to solar system view and see the tactical situation around the solar system where your ship is exploring.
Just like Classic Traveller, your ships sensors will be aware of all “known fixed objects” such as planets, stars, and stations, and will be able to scan for moving objects within the range of your sensors (to detect ships, asteroids, and other moving objects).
Hex-Mode lets the classic Traveller fan enjoy the game from a strategic perspective, plan trading routes, discover new territory, and explore thousands of star-systems. In Traveller-AR, PvE and PvP Combat is only one of the many things to do. Exploring the vastness of space, trading, and completing quests are equally challenging and equally rewarding.
